Eakes Responds to Flood Relief

Eakes Responds to Flood Relief

Eakes Office Solutions and its employees have been hard at work helping flood victims throughout the state. Below is just a short list of what we've been up to in our communities:

  • On March 28th, Eakes donated 10% of all retail sales to the American Red Cross of Nebraska and Southwest Iowa
  • Grand Island Eakes is serving as a drop-off location for flood relief donations as part of the Railside Relief effort from March 27th - April 6th
  • Hastings Eakes has donated janitorial items to local customers to assist in area clean up
  • Sioux City Eakes has donated items to Dakota County Emergency Management to assist those in need
  • Columbus Eakes had formed a program to assist a number of St. Edwards customers, including loaner furniture and free design and labor services upon replacement
  • Norfolk Eakes has set up a number of customers with used inventory to get them back on their feet
  • Norfolk Eakes also participated in "Show your Nebraska Pride" day with monetary donations going to the Orphan Grain Train
  • Omaha Eakes partnered with Blumfield Elementary School in Ralston and Lutheran Family Services to deliver donations to the flood victims within the Fremont area

There's still a long road of cleaning and rebuilding ahead, but Eakes will be there supporting our communities along the way. #NebraskaStrong
